Breeding, berries in Pixelmon have many uses. There are 83 berries in total but here we'll go over the more useful ones to help in your Pixelmon experience.
Restorative
Most of these berries are automatically activated once an effect has occurred. These can be used in and out of battle.

These berries work to reduce a specific EV stat or increase the happiness of the pokémon. You can use
/cp in-game to see what the happiness and IV/EV stats of your pokémon are.

Type Reducing/Breeding/Lures
These type-reducing berries reduce the power of a single super effective move of the type by 50%. These berries also link to the berries needed in lure recipes and breeding with a daycare.

Breeding: With a daycare you will need the typing of the pokémon and sitrus berries for a breeding cycle. If you use a ditto or another compatible pokémon, those berry typing's will also be included.
Lures: Weak and Strong lures require the typing berry plus others depending on the type of Lure being crafted. Below is the crafting recipes for these.
Pinch
These berries activate when the Pokémon's health drops below 25%.
- Apicot Berry - Raises Special Defense by one stage
- Custap Berry - Lets the holder move first once
- Ganlon Berry - Raises Defense by one stage
- Lansat Berry - Raises critical hit ratio by two stages
- Liechi Berry - Raises Attack by one stage
- Micle Berry - Raises the next move's accuracy by 20%
- Petaya Berry - Raises Special Attack by one stage
- Salac Berry - Raises Speed by one stage
- Starf Berry - Raises a random stat (Attack/Defense/Special Attack/Special Defense/Speed/Accuracy/Evasion) by two stages
Damage
These berries cause certain effects when the holder is hit with a certain type of attack
Recoil Berries cause an attack to take 1/8 of its max HP in recoil damage.
