Chest shops are the answer if you want to start a new way of life in your town and sell your items without using the GTS.
Chest shops are a convenience that can run in tandem with player warps to be able to sell your items or buy items from other players.
Opening a Chest Shop!
To create a chest shop, the first thing you need to do is place a chest or a barrel. Then, while holding the item you want to sell/buy, look at the chest and enter
/cshop create <buy price> <sell price>.
In the new system you can now buy, sell or do both from the same chest!
For example:
- If you only want to sell items then enter = /cshop create 0 50 - This creates a shop where others can sell an item to you for 50 pokécoins
- If you only want to buy items then enter = /cshop create 50 0 - This creates a shop where others can buy the item from you for 50 pokécoins
- If you want to buy and sell then enter = /cshop create 100 10 - This creates a shop where others can buy the item from you for 100 pokécoins and sell you that same item for 10 pokécoins
Other Commands
There is also now a new and easier system to manage your chest shops! Below are a list of commands/features included.
- /cshop settings- Opens the settings menu of your cshop. Here you can:
- Toggle transaction messages
- Disable buying and/or selling of that shop
- Add/remove a shop admin
- Edit buy/sell price
- Change hologram rotation
- /cshop settings toggle-shared-income - Allows you to toggle whether other admins of your shop gains income as well or not
- /cshop emptyshops - Command to check empty shops that you own nearby
- /cshop remove - Use this command facing the chest shop to remove it. You can also just break it with an axe.
- /cshop settings copy and /cshop setting paste - Allows you to copy your hologram placements and admin information
Finding Player Shops
Player Shops can be found and advertised on
/pwarps. On the Pwarp Menu if you select the Chest Icon you can see all of the current shops players have listed! Be aware that some players charge to even teleport to their shop.
