Colors Picker
NOTE: The use of colors in chat requires the donator rank Expert +. You can buy a rank from the store which can be found here.
The use of special characteristics require the donator rank of Elite + Which can also be bought from the store.
MirageCraft has introduced the
color picker, accessible in-game using
/colorpicker. Once ran, you will see a collection of colors you can then
shift+click to insert them in chat. These can be used to edit your nickname, or type a colored messaged in chat.
What the command
/colorpicker looks like in-game.
Here's an example of what the message in chat looks like before and after being sent.
Making Gradients
If you would like to make gradients in your nickname or in chat,
BirdFlop (Formerly SimplyMC) is a good website to use. Here you can create custom gradients with whatever text you would like.
- Colour Preset - Here is listed pre-created colour options or the ability to create a custom colour.
- Colour Amount - Here you can add up to 11 colours for your gradient.
- Hex Colour - Clicking on the certain colour opens up a custom colour mixer to choose whatever colour you want. It's recommended for in-game use, especially nicknames, to make the colours brighter than you want as they naturally show a little darker in-game.
- Input Text - This is what you will want to say in-game or what your nickname will be.
- Colour Format - This is originally selected as '&#rrggbb' this needs to be changed to '&x&r&r&g&g&b&b'
- Prefix - If you want to use this as your nickname, you need to add '/nick ' into this section. Make sure to add a space after nick.
- Presets - You can make this text be bold, italic, underlined or have a line through by selecting these presets.
Once you have your name, colours and this info chosen, click to copy the output and then paste this in game.
Keep in mind that due to the way Minecraft processes color codes and text formats, it may not always be possible to have gradients and text with formatting. For example, bold or italics.
Colors
We also have
/colors, which uses the base Minecraft Colors in &(letter or number) format to type in your message. For example, if I were to do &6Hello, Rockes. It would show a gold font saying Hello, Rockes
You can also combine this with special characteristics such as bold, italic, underlines and striking through the the text. This can be viewed using the following & combinations in the screenshot below.
So for example, to type in Italic with a gold color, you can do &6&oHello Rockes.
For further help you can use this website
here, to type out directly what you want to say and just copy and paste it in MirageCraft chat.
