Guilds are a way to team up and gain benefits between players. From cool names, guild warps, upgrades and more, join or create a guild! To start use
/guilds to explore!
How to start with Guilds
To open the menu, type
/guilds in chat. This will open the UI to create, edit and/or join guilds.
Here you can:
- Create a guild for 2000 pokécoins
- Edit the guild you have made/participating in
- Join guilds that are currently created
Joining a Guild
When you click on the bookshelf icon (shown above), this will direct you to what guilds are currently open. These have an automatic hold on auto-join.
When you hover over a guild it shows you the guilds stats, such as wins, members and other info.
To join a guild, click on the one you want to join if it has member space and this will send an application to the guild.
If accepted, welcome to your chosen guild! Make sure to add money to your guild bank (see more info below) as per player there is a
500 pokecoin tax every 14 days.
You can also ask on our
discord to make/join a guild with a group of people if joining one isn't working well.
Creating a Guild
If you don't want to join an existing guild, you can also create one. Starting cost for this is 2000 pokécoins. To start making one, from
/guilds click on the book and quill icon.
From here you open the creation UI.
BE AWARE: Once an ID, Name and Emblem have been chosen for your guild, this cannot be changed after creating. You will either have to stick with it or disband and re-create the guild. Inappropriate names/jokes are also not allowed in IDs, Guild Names and Lore.
Here you have:
- Setting the guilds ID
- Creating the guilds name
- Setting the guilds emblem
- Creating the guilds lore
- Emblem data sets to help know how to set up one
- Auto-Join function (is disabled at the start)
Once you have set up at least the ID, Guild Name and Emblem you can create your guild!
Setting up ID
Here you are creating a custom ID for your guild. This needs to be lowercase and not include custom characters or spaces. This can be anything as long as it is not inappropriate.
Here's an example of what the guild ID will look like.
Setting up Guild Name
Guild names are a 2-10 character long name. You can also use custom colours (see more
here) however there is a 50 character max when using custom codes. This does reduce the amount of colours you can use but you can remove some of the codes to cut down on the limit and still have a gradient.
Note: &#rrggbb format is to be used when choosing colours. The other format stated in our colours page is for nicknames and is too long to work with guild name creations.
Here's an example:
&#FFE259C&#FFD157a&#FFC054t&#FFAF52B&#FEA763o&
#FDA886a&#FCA8A9t&#FBA9CCs
Although it looks super cute, this is too long of a code. However by group 2+ letters at a time together you can create the same effect and reduce the code.
&#FFE259Ca&#FFC054tB&#FEA763oa&#FCA8A9ts
As you can see the same effect is created with less code. The green shows what letters have been grouped together - meaning the code between these letters have just been removed.
Once you have decided on a name and any colours you'd like to use, click on the name tag icon to open the menu then add the name (with or without codes) to the menu.
Creating a Guild Emblem
To create the guild emblem, you can use any Minecraft, Pixelmon or biome mod ID that works for 1.16.5. If you have JEI installed you can hover over an icon to gather these or search for them. Here's a Minecraft ID
page and a Pixelmon ID
page that may help.
Below is the format you use for IDs.
Once you have chosen this, open the menu and add it as your emblem.
If you have set up your ID, Name and Emblem, you can now create your guild!
REMINDER: Once an ID, Name and Emblem have been chosen for your guild, this cannot be changed after creating. You will either have to stick with it or disband and re-create the guild. Inappropriate names/jokes are also not allowed in IDs, Guild Names and Lore.
Managing your Guild
Once you have created your guild, the middle icon is replaced with the guilds icon you have created/joined.
Clicking this directs you to the management UI where you can start adding other players, upgrades etc.
Here you have:
- Guild Members
- Guild Warps
- Guild Chat
- Guild Upgrades
- Guild Management
- Guild War Rewards
Guild Members
Here you can see the list of players that are currently in the guild.
When you click on a guild member you are able to change their rank, kick them from the guild or ban them from the guild.
To see how to upgrade the guild member limit, see our upgrade section below.
Guild Warps
For your guild you can also create a Guild Warp to a home base or a certain location you want to set up.
Once set up, you can hover over the created warp to see its name, coordinate information and how to remove it if necessary.
To see how to upgrade the guild warp limit, see our upgrade section below.
Guild Chat
As well as being in a guild, you can also privately chat! To activate this you can do it in the guild menu or enter the command
/guilds chat or
/gc in-game. This is a toggled chat so if you want to talk in main chat, enter the command again to leave.
As you talk in guilds chat you also see your rank that has been set. Below you can see how to create custom rank names and edit permissions.
Guild Upgrades
Here you can see the current level of upgrades your guild has. You can increase you upgrades in the guild management section.
Guild Management
In the guild management section is where most of the detail is at. Here you can add/remove players, give ranks, see the guilds balance, add upgrades and more.
Guild Bank
It is important to make sure there is money in your guild bank. Any money in this is used for the weekly tax
(500 pokecoins per player every 14 days) and any upgrades your guild may want.
If you tax is not paid for then the guild is
automatically disbanded so be careful. Any money put in will not be reimbursed and the guild will have to be remade.
Guild Ranks
Ranks are titles given to players to specify permissions or to give a fancy title. When talking in guild chat they are also shown.
To create a new rank, press on the book and quill icon. These names work the same as guild names so you can add colours to these names as well!
When creating a new rank you also have to individually click the permission available. Shift + Left Click to edit a certain ranks permissions and click on the glowstone dust. Make sure to repeat this for each permission you want to give.
Guild Lore
Either when creating your guild or adding now, you can add a description to your guild.
This is shown to players when they are looking to join a guild and when you hover over the blue sign.
Editing Players
In the Guild Management section you have the ability to see pending members, enable/disable the auto join function and see or add banned players.
Guild Upgrades
A major function of guilds is their upgrades. These cost money and Guild Stars, gained from guild wars.
Found in the Guild Upgrades Shop within Guild Management, upgrades include:
- Upgrading Max Player Count
- Upgrading Max Warps Count
- Catch Rate Boosters
- Exp Boosters
- Temporary Hidden Ability/Shiny Boosters
Upgrading Boosters
Below is a price and star guide to upgrading the boosters. Each individual upgrade costs the required items. Such as each Exp Booster booster requires a star per upgrade, all upgrades are not unlocked when you get 1 star.
Any Guild Boosters added are a permanent feature as long as 1 player is in the guild. These also stack with external boosters.
Upgrading Max Players
As the same with boosters, these require money and stars for each individual upgrade. Below is a guide on what the pricing is.
Upgrading Max Warps
As the same with boosters and members, below is a guide on pricing.
