Installing Pixelmon Reforged with the TLauncher

Before we proceed, it must be known that you cannot join the server without a Minecraft account. This tutorial is to help you set up MirageCraft's modpack using TLauncher. Downloading TLauncher

Step 1

Download TLauncher for whichever system you use. You can download it from here.



Step 2

Once it's on your computer, run the TLauncher Installer you just downloaded.
Go through the Setup Wizard, you shouldn't need to make any changes to this. By default, this should give you a shortcut on your desktop for easy access and it should open TLauncher after your done.





Installing the Pixelmon Modpack

Step 1


With TLauncher open, click TL Mods at the bottom of the window. From here, you can search for MirageCraft and our modpack should come up.




Step 2
Once the MirageCraft Pixelmon Reforged Modpack appears, click on it then select Versions. From here you can download the latest version of our ModPack!


Step 3
Once it finishes downloading, just make sure the correct version has appeared at the bottom of the screen, right next to where your username is! If it is, then you can click Enter the game to start playing on MirageCraft. Before you can play, you might need to link your account to TLauncher, but the Launcher will guide you through that part since it depends on what kind of account you have.




Adding RAM to TLauncher
Is MirageCraft not running as smoothly as you want it to be? There might not be enough RAM allocated to Minecraft.

Step 1
While in TLauncher, click on the gear icon to open up settings. This should open a window that is for Minecraft Settings, and here you can select the amount of RAM you are going to let Minecraft use. Pixelmon recommends that players need 2GB of RAM minimum to play properly. Make sure to not give Minecraft more RAM than your computer can handle, if your computer only has 2GB of memory available, don't allocate 3GB!



Step 1

First things first is downloading the mod you want to add into the modpack. In this case: Optifine. You may get a warning saying that this is a harmful file, this warning can be dismissed as it's just a false positive because it's a jar file. You can click on Keep Anyway to keep the file.




Step 2
Once you have your desired mod downloaded, make sure you have the MirageCraft modpack already installed and ready to go. From here, click on the folder icon at the bottom right of the window. This should bring up some folders, specifically the Mods folder. The Mods folder is where you are going to drop Optifine or whatever additional mods you wanted to add. Now you should be able to play with the new mods!

Extra Information
Just a final note, our server doesn't support cracked Minecraft accounts, and if you want to play on our server you will need an actual Minecraft Account which you can purchase from here if you don't already have one.
